When I first began my journey into the hypnosis world there was almost nothing that could get in my way of learning how to hypnotize, I practiced at any possibility I could get, so much so I had a time when I lost my voice.

I panicked, how on earth am I going to perform Hypnosis now?

I searched online and went through what ever I could to figure out how to lead someone into trance with out using my mouth. Finally after a few hours I gave up because I didn’t see anything that could work, and I began to brainstorm, I knew that utilization is very powerful so that is what I should do, and I knew that in rapport and there is a connection and also that we communicate non-verbally with our bodies so that is what I will do!

I then performed a non-verbal Silent hypnosis Induction using only subtle cues to allow a person to reach the state of trance, see the Demonstration below to check it out:

Basically this is how this Induction works:

You get the person to understand to follow what you are doing, like I did by putting both my hands forward like I did, and once they do that, slowly bring them forward at their eye level, each small movement of each hand moving closer to each other as well as one bit lower, this gives their subconscious the Idea and feeling they, “I am going down”, making sure they stare the whole time at one of their thumbs, by pointing at it, making sure they have all their attention there, once you have that, and both their hands are together, you can now, in one swift movement, drop their hands to their lap which would instantaneously send them into the hypnotic state.

    Hi Lion…

Im a fellow South African and I was wondering…. With this method and the others, once you tell them sleep or in this case push their hands down, I realize that they enter the “hypnotic” state. Now my question is, when they are in that state of mind, do you have to immediately deepen their state by saying “deeper and deeper” for example and if you dont, would they wake up straight away?

      Hi Jacques,

Well Since it is a “Silent” or “Non-verbal” Induction, you do not really need to say anything, they understood without words where they needed to go, they will also understand that they should stay there, although they do need to be continuously stimulated, not necesarrily verbally, so you maybe cause some deepening by moving the head in a rotary fashion which has a deepening effect if intended, stimulus is necessary.
