Learn the Eight [8] Word Hypnosis Instant Induction + Video

by Leo Gopal · 19 comments

The 8 word instant hypnosis induction is one of the few inductions that always seems to catch a beginners attention, the 8 word induction is just a simple adaptation on the Arm Drop induction (which it is), the only difference is that it has 8 predefined words that make it all the more appealing and easier to perform especially for the hypnotic beginner.

So, Imagine being able to Hypnotize anyone with just 8 words (for the Induction), sounds enticing to you?

Great, because it did for me as well, in fact the arm drop induction was one of the first inductions I learned.

Those Magical 8 words are:

“Push on my hand, Close your eyes, SLEEP!”

Now, let us learn how to use these magical eight words for the hypnosis induction. Just as its verbal usage the induction itself is very simple and easy to perform.

Firstly you will need the subjects permission, always use a willing subject, it is the ethical thing to do, once you have pre-talked them, got them to follow your instructions, you may begin the induction:

  • Put your one hand, palm facing upwards in front of them.
  • Ask them to Push on your Hand.
  • Push upwards matching their Strength
  • Ask them to Close Their Eyes
  • Once they have done that, Instantly Move your hand from under theirs.
  • Give the Sleep Command.
  • Deepen

The Last three steps Should all happen instantaneously without waiting, pausing or wondering, you, the hypnotist,  should be confident that it will work and it will.

Remember that this Induction has nothing to do with the angle of the hands, the force that they push, or little aspects like that, This is a simple induction, do not complicate it, it simply works, be confident that it will, and have a clear vision and intent and then it surely will.

Below you will find a visual demonstration of this Induction being performed:

Nicely done, thanks for the help, i’m gonna try and keep everything here in mind, i think part of the problem’s i have been having is that i tell them to close their eyes and i don’t immediately say sleep, so i will do this and next time i will keep everything in mind and try to remember everything, thanks man!

Awesome, Glad to see you read it Aric, Although I may disagree with your assumption of the timing issue which you think is the issue, I just think that maybe you do not feel confident enough, your intent is not fully alive and hence you are not able to “feel” it and the subject senses that.

Do this induction and video it, would love to critique it for you! :)

Hi Matthew,

Great to see your enthusiasm to try out what you learn, many people do not do that and that in itself is a mark or someone on the path to success, my best tip that I can give is to try again using all the points given above and to also record it, if it were not to work, post the video in the forum: http://youthehypnotists.com/forum/ and we will be super-glad to guide you along the way!

Eternal Smiles,
Leo Gopal

Dear Leo:
First of all a greeting. My case is that I wanted to learn Hypnosis in Spanish, but unfortunately I have not found the place, as I don't have a good level to speak English, I would appreciate your help in learning hypnosis.

Sincerely.

U may need to step out of your comfort zone and hypnotize someone u don’t know. u see your sister doesnt see u as a hypnotist, she sees u as her brother, this is a big deal since the real trick of hypnosis is the way u act, u need to act confident, u are a hypnotist, be direct, don’t ever doubt yourself. So just keep practicing the induction and work on your confidence working on other people and you’ll be able to hypnotize anyone easily.

hi im new at hypnosis and has tryed this method i think it works but ive only been able to do it once and the friends who were watching me think the person i did it to was just acting. it was my first time and i didnt tell her i wanted to hypnotise her i told her i was showing her something cool cause i knew she would never agree to it. not to mention i kicked her lol i was kinda freeked out… she had no reaction. im pretty sure she wasnt acting and i was able to put her in a trance. i havet been able to do it to her or anyone else since. i was just wondering ive been doing the same thing to about 5 diffrent people and it hasnt worked other then that one time what am i doing wrong/ by the way she had a blank stare when she went in the trance and when i woke her up she had no memory of being hypnotised is that normal? thx so much

i have a few question before i try it.
what should i do if they actually sleep?
wake them up? how? like “you will wake up when i count to 3, 1 2 3?”
or should i just simply ask them to wake up?

I am sorry but this all seems bullshit, or I really suck at it. I have tried it but never works. I am very good at presentations and highly confident.
I even tried by putting both their hands on my both palms, then following the regular thing. But when I say sleep, all I have is them smiling, smirking and laughing at my face.

Kindly suggest where I am going wrong.
